On today’s show, we are joined by Matthew Bates who is an Associate Professor of Theology at Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois.
His books include Gospel Allegiance, Salvation by Allegiance Alone, The Birth of the Trinity, The Hermeneutics of the Apostolic Proclamation and The Gospel Precisely. He co-founded and also co-hosts the popular OnScript podcast.
We chatted with Matthew about the big ideas from his book The Gospel Precisely. He explains that many Christians have a limited view of the gospel and often limit this to a 'decision moment'. Here you will find out what the gospel truly is and where we have gone wrong.
